  • La Bella Romana Friselle
  • Ricotta 
  • Avocado (ripe)
  • Delallo Balsamic Vinegar  
  • Delallo Castelvetrano EVOO 
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Guide

  1. Prepare the Friselle:
       
    • Coat friselle with olive oil and balsamic
  2.  
  3. Assemble:
       
    • Spread ricotta directly onto Friselle
    •  
    • Top with diced avocado.  
    •  
    • Season with salt and pepper
    •  
    • Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic 
  4.  
  5. Enjoy!

Tips and Variations:

  • Whipped Ricotta: For a lighter, fluffier texture, whip the ricotta with a hand mixer or food processor.
  • Balsamic Glaze: A drizzle of balsamic glaze on top instead of the balsamic vinegar adds a touch of sweetness and acidity. 
  • Fresh Herbs: Fresh basil, parsley, or chives add a burst of flavor.
  • Tomatoes: Cherry tomatoes, either halved or sliced, complement the creamy avocado and ricotta.
  • Lemon: Add some lemon juice! It brightens the flavors and prevents the avocado from browning.
